My favorites! I had a pair that lived near me. One couldn’t fly very well and the other had a broken beak, but they thrived together. When I pulled weeds they would come and avail themselves of the insects I was stirring up.

You gave me a total “awwwww❤️” moment! Thank you! I have a squirrel that I sadly watched lose most of her tail, but she persevered & I make she gets the best nuts when she visits! But a pair of disadvantaged animals combining talents?! That is awesome!

I learned that the Sandhills cranes migrate through Colorado. I only seen them fairly close in Florida. There were a few that hung out at the College and couple other areas in Orlando.
