I hope as Torontonians we can all unite to prove one very important thing in this mayoral election: Brad Bradford is a total flip-flopping weenie

Mayoral candidate Brad Bradford makes it official: he’d remove the Bloor West bike lanes if he wins in October.

I'm in Bradford's ward, and my problem isn't that he changes his mind, it's that he is absent from the ward. I have never seen him in the community, even at the events his office runs for him (community environment day, for example). He doesn't respond to emails. He's in it for himself.

Bradford says whatever he thinks will get him elected: when he was replacing Mary-Margaret McMahon, an urbanist who was everywhere in the community, he pretended to be an urbanist who would care about the community. Now he thinks right-wing will get him elected, so he pretends to be right-wing.

I genuinely think the flip-flopping is the same issue! Like I don't think *actually* changing your mind is bad, but repeatedly changing your stance on every issue in order to chameleon around and try to get whatever votes you can: that shit is gross and it's so obvious.

Like if that's your strategy, then why bother showing up at all once elected. You just need to fool some new marks before the next election. It's gross and I am sorry you have had to settle for such shitty representation!
