when making HLA they forgot about this, but!!! in hl1 the gman talks about his employers, and 20 years later in hl2 era he never mentions them, he talks about making all gordon-related decisions himself, he used to have to bother with dissenters but doesn't anymore, and his briefcase logo is gone

I could've swore he mentions his employers again because I haven't played half life 1 myself and I distinctly remember him mentioning them during alyx, am I mistaken?
