I'm in my 70s; I don't know how to answer. I grew up in the 60s, which saw huge gains in civil rights for people of color, and later, women. But that prompted a conservative backlash. Same thing in my Catholic church, with Vatican II. At least we have people like Robert Reich to remind us.
