Glasgow Cross The new remove tool in PS is remarkable for removing scratches and water stains from negs Paint over the area and ask to remove. colours balanced and off we go. 250d #xpan #filmphotography #pano #glasgow

I use this if it’s really bad like this or if just the usual dust and sparkles I use a laser soft dust removal tool. But that also probably make the image fake 😂😂😂😂

You decide Did it clean it up or fundamentally change it ? I don’t see any traffic lights or objects removed. I see watermarking clean up. I could literally just take a photo of the negative and present that 😂😂😂 Had I have posted it and said Fuck me this took me literally hours to clone out the

In my humble opinion you just cleaned it up. Nothing materially has changed. You haven’t added or removed anything that changes the scene. I’m not a “get off my lawn” or editorial journalist so my position is as long as you don’t use Ai to fake a photo using these types of tools are normal

Phew I was starting to think I was turning into an AI 🤖 🤣🤣 Total agreement on this, cleaning up is perfectly fine. However if someone wants to go further that’s up to them. I use AI all the time to create satire, but it’s obvious it’s AI and all the platforms label it as such, which is fair.

What I don’t like is the trend on IG and other platforms (especially in the beauty / influencer space) is creating full on Ai images & passing them off as real. If someone uses Ai for creative work then OK (I don’t do it, but OK) but don’t suggest it’s not Ai

1/2 I am never done saying to my wife… you realise that who video is AI. Recently she sent me one with a stack of bottles with concrete in between. The video made it look super easy. Create a big cardboard tube fill with bottles pour concrete in… Until you think, hold on

2/2 How could that flimsy cardboard support wet concrete if that volume till dry, why as the bottles not filling up with concrete through the tops… 100% fake AI she does it with recipes. They just aren’t achievable based on the ingredients
