Cant pre-pardon, as pardon is based on a crime being commited. That could envisage a person commit murder just before the pardon is issued, are they pardoned for the murder?

It’s not pre-crime, it’s pre-charge. The crimes have been committed, and are ongoing as we speak.

Then how do you explain the preemptive pardons for Hunter Biden and Dr. Fauci?

“Charges” were (maybe) going to be pursued. The precedent has been set. And you know this clown will hang his toupee-covering red hat on that precedent.

At the very least the illegal conduct must be specified. The constitution says nothing about pardoning people, only that “offenses” may be pardoned.

POTUS can claim any pardon he wishes. Whether it stands up in court is a different question. Prosecutors should feel free to charge any crimes not specifically listed.
