Why can't that idiot have known this was going to happen. The idiot could also backtrack like he does every other stupid thing he's done and get us back on board. Man I can't wait until he's gone. Yes, the next one's not much better, but he'll never be this bad!

And as I read somewhere here earlier, Chinese isn’t spending on WARS… something we seem to have had an affinity for… during most ALL of our history. 😤 Too many of the WRONG pockets keep getting filled!! 😩

#China will rule the future, economically and morally, become the leader of the world by 2028 #US will lead the declining #fossil past. #Europe will have to choose sides

2/ Chinese firms have committed $227+ billion across 461 green manufacturing projects in 54 countries since 2011 - with 88% of investment occurring just since 2022. This dwarfs the $200 billion Marshall Plan (in today's dollars).

3/ While America retreats from clean energy leadership, China has built end-to-end control of green supply chains: solar, batteries, EVs, wind turbines, green hydrogen. Over 75% of these projects are in Global South countries eager for this industrial capacity.

4/ The geographic shift is telling: MENA jumped from almost no Chinese green tech projects in 2021 to over 20% of new deals in 2024, worth nearly $50 billion. Gulf states now welcome Chinese solar and electrolyser manufacturing that the US won't support at home.

5/ Key hubs are emerging outside Western influence: Indonesia for battery materials, Morocco for EU-bound cathodes and hydrogen, Brazil for Latin American manufacturing. China is creating alternative supply chains that bypass US-allied networks entirely.

The US clings to the energy of the past because of billionaires and stupid fucking culture wars as China laps us all on embracing the energy of the future All because coal and oil are manly and alpha and clean skies and rivers are woke soy and gay or some fucking moronic shit

As the U.S is being politically forced into withdrawing from science, data, fact, & reality in general, it comes as no surprise that China will simply take up the educational, industrial, and political slack we've left them. China's been at if for some time, but Chump & Co. has made it much easier.
