#rpgmaker #rmmv #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #drpg #dungeoncrawler #scionsofalguen Finished the first dungeon of Scions! It's not too long (around an hour?) since it serves more as an intro/tutorial section. Switching to pixel art for tilesets (hopefully) made for a better look, too.

All that's really left of this dungeon is the post-clear cutscenes. The main character is able to start with 5 different skillsets depending on a personality test. This intro section was the one area it mattered the most, so I spent a few hours making sure each one of them was viable enough.

Other than that, the next big thing I have to work on is the overworld. Yes, there will be an overworld this time around. I already have the map drawn, but eventing it will be a monster on its own right. I do figure it will be a matter of doing it step by step rather than all at once though...
