2025 Mega Thread of Books I finish this year. I primarily read Fantasy Books and have read (on average) a book a week for the last 4 years. First up: Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson. 4/5 ⭐ I'm book clubbing this next week and we finally get to talk about where this ended (for now). 📚🪐💙

Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson. 4/5 ⭐ I am thinking this will be the only two Sanderson books I read this year (unless selected for book club). It's neat that these books exists and this one was fun. We only had to explain how everything works twice this time. Way to go Sando!

Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros. 2/5 ⭐ I don't know if I just couldn't forgive this one for being more of the same with zero lessons learned or because it was not as exciting as I found the first one. It took way too long to read.

Fight Like Hell: The Untold History of American Labor by Kim Kelly. 3/5 ⭐ I'm trying to sprinkle in more nonfiction to my reading schedule and it's a real mental shift. This one was pretty alright and well written.

The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley 3/5 ⭐. I think if I had read this while younger I would have enjoyed it much more. As an adult, I thought it was "mostly harmless" and potentially pretty alright! I enjoyed parts but would have a tough time finding the right person to recommend it to.

The Kingdom of Gods by N. K. Jemisin 4/5 ⭐. Ask me on some days and it's a 5/5. I really enjoyed this closure to the series. Worth getting there to see and I'd recommend each book in the series for different reasons. A truly fun and great read.
