Annual #4thofJuly reminder: 🌟✨Silent fireworks are a (vibrant! festive!) thing.✨🌟 There are other ways to do this - every bit as good & for many (people living w/ ptsd, anxiety, noise sensitivities, pets & wild animals, the environment, asthmatics, and just... anyone who breathes), way better.

Last Summer I watched my favourite spider weave a fresh web outside my window every evening at sunset. As she tried to weave one on 4th of July, the sound vibrations from area fireworks' were so strong they shook her & the web too much to finish. She didn't rebuild a web for a couple of days after.
