Weeks ago I brought home a new Canna Lily plant to commemorate a milestone anniversary of my mom's passing (which occured on the night of a full Buck Moon 🦌). Late last night, beneath this year's full Buck Moon, its very 1st flower burst into bloom! #EverydayMagic

I was maybe in 1st or 2nd grade at the time, but it really stuck with me; and ever since, I always find it reassuring to see turban-wearers out and about. This post is turban-positive, but it is not about turbans. Wear your shirts. Put stickers on your car. Put signs in your yard. (2)

When I was a little kid, a guy in a turban caught me staring at him in a mall food court. I was embarrassed but he was nice, so with Dad’s permission, I asked about his “hat.” He said that the turban meant that he was a helper. “It means that if you need help, ask me. *I* will help.” (1)

Found my limit after pushing myself too hard lately & lost consciousness & fainted at the side of a busy road today. That was... something. Gratitude to two kind souls who helped til I came to/recovered a bit (a work in progress). I did joke dying on World Goth Day could be overdoing it a touch? 👻
