I'm proud to announce this morning that I ALSO failed to do basic due diligence to air gap my hacking software and it immediately proceeded to do exactly what it was programmed for the only conclusion to be made is that the singularity has arrived and you should give me large sums of money

You'll be happy to learn that I added a short opinion piece in my company's internal cybersecurity monthly news update, where I talk about how the OpenAI "Rogie AI" incident was mainly due to safeguards being intentionally reduced in a testing environment and that this was not a "singularity" event.

My wife's massive company also did a better job explaining all of this to its employees with that framing than the entire tech press did

Also, when you say some bullshit in order to make your product seem way better and more capable than it actually is, adding a little embarrassing mistake on your part and making your product sound like skynet is probably a good way to make people more likely to believe/fund you. Lying 101.
