Is this his attempt at covering his behind when his awful money pit scheme and its many competitor copies end up causing a global financial crash? Cause I don't think accusations of "silliness" is gonna cut it.

He has done this from the start. He routinely makes bad choices and then pretends he is somehow on the side of sense, caution, and reason. Some variant pops up in every interview.
