idk if they're really warning us about the dangers of AI It seems like a reverse psychology marketing tactic. If AI is really so powerful that it could end mankind, then the hype and the trillions bet on the tech must be justified, right? Reporting on regulatory capture doesn't benefit Wall Street

It feels like at this point there's nothing much left to gut and the returns are fully diminished. (Not that they will stop destroying everything to siphon every last drop of blood from the stone of America.)

I also wonder how much the media’s investment in AI plays into the muted coverage.🤷🏼‍♀️
