Will the Solitaire update involve reining in CPU use? It turns every device I run it on into a space heater, which is a shame because it's otherwise perfect. If you DO address that I'd love to know what you have to change. I doubt it's as simple as an FPS ceiling, for example.

Shoot. I figured this was common. Happens on my Windows desktop + laptop, and Android phone. Haven't tried on my Linux and Mac stuff but happy to test if it helps. I actually looked around a few weeks ago to see if you made the source available so I could take a stab at fixing it.

Small question (because I'm curious): Did you set up some kind of automation (like a Github CI, or anything) to dispatch your assets updates through all the stores you use? So you don't have to spend lots of time uploading everywhere? I'm not sure websites out of itch.io often have that, tho 😅

I unfortunately don't have such a thing. For my assets I only upload to my own site, and OpenGameArt.org. I want to also include Itch.io, but it requires me to make additional thumbnails which is where most the work goes it. It's also a manual process!

Ah yeah, indeed, the store metadata/assets have to be manual! It's been a few times I was wondering, so thanks for the reply :) I'm always looking to automate what I do repetitively (like pushing my games on itch/steam), but yeah, it's probably not worth it (or just possible) for the assets 😄

Yeah it's super important to have proper batch tools and automated pipelines so you can just keep busy with the creative aspect!
