Rate limits kicking in pretty quick here.. it fails tasks mid way thru and if you have it retry it has to start all the way over making any progress very minimal.

Yeah, I've seen this as well - it seems to get compounded by the fact that restarting the attempt over and over makes the conversation longer, which means eventually you'll hit the limit with fairly little work done and it asks you to summarize it... which I expect then makes the overload worse.

If the @kiro.dev is looking at real-world use patterns that might mitigate the overload, being able to pick up the task after an interruption of this kind might reduce how much your servers and model access are getting hammered.

I've found if you switch to Claude 3.7 you don't have nearly as much trouble with the limits. It's not ideal, but for most of my tasks, it's fine.

Ugh.. I’m not a fan of 3.7 I see it there in the drop down tho
