The entire vuln and IR community is about ready to riot when it comes to anthropic. They’re operating in such bad faith on several fronts, and there’s no engagement to address. I don’t favor government regulation, but it could be avoided if they collaborated at basic levels

Considering they've been singled out due to them not allowing the models for military use without guardrails (because "the model from company X was used to kill people" is bad publicity), I feel this isn't exactly good faith from the US Government. www.bbc.com/news/article...

Def that too, but doesn’t negate they’re continually operating in a way that most security professionals agree unnecessarily increases risk significantly. Security theater all the way down on both fronts

They took it down because use by foreign nationals even inside the US is forbidden, not just because use outside the US is forbidden.
