I'm sure your writing is great, insightful, helpful, etc. I know you can host for free on Substack. But you have so many options out there which allow you to host a free blog or newsletter and *don't* give money to Nazis, and it is really quite simple to post your writing there instead.

if you're marginally technical, gohugo.io That's what I use and I just shove this up into a basic-ass webhost's `public_html` folder. the 90's had the right idea, but shitty tooling this helps a lot
