So after more than 10 years I cancelled my spotify subscription. I didnt use it to listen to podcasts but my subscription over time had been paying the likes of Joe Rogan, Harry & Megan and the Obamas rather than the aryists I'd signed up to listen to.

I think the straw that broke the camel's back was the reports of the CEOs investments in weapons. Why should I continue to support a platform where the profits are used to devise the slaughter of our fellow humans?

Regardless of this I tried Soundcloud Go or whatever its called, but importing my liked songs mostly resulted in them being replaced by covers (maybe it's more profitable?) But either way I cancelled atter a week to switch to Tidal, which should be much cheaper on tfamily plan and not suffer covers
