🚨The most important NASA graph in the world has another 6 months of data, and it looks even worse. 🚨 NASA CERES satellites measure how much sunlight Earth absorbs and how much heat is radiated back to space. The difference is heat accumulation, which has more than tripled over the past 26 years!

I’ve been working in climate and related fields for a very long time and had not seen this figure. Thanks for posting. Have you seen a version with error bars?

« - @climatecasino.net (> 22:48)

Leon, this graph could use one important upgrade for emphasis: add a background bar graph showing the EEI increasing from 0.4 - 1.4 using a right side Y-axis from 0-1.5 or so. It's difficult for some to visualize the increase in EEI by examining the area between In and Out; this may help.

Can you help me explain this chart to others? Is this 1.42W/m2 absorbed each day, each hour, each month? I want to use this measure to add some feeling of scale and I want to use it correctly :)
