HEY, LISTEN. Take some gameplay from my game, An rpg where you fight (Or talk to...?) a living cherry and spiders with knives in their back. #gamedev #indiegamedev #jrpg #rpg #pixelart #TalesFromTheOtherSide

More fleshed out ways to defend yourself, or even attack, are already designed and being implemented in the final game. You should try the demo! Since it covers the "first chapter" of the game, it might be a bit simple. But its a good taste of whats to come! I promise!

I played a bit of it and so far it's fun! The timing takes a little bit of getting used to since I'm used to M&L being really close to hit, this has some distance to it. Combat hits could use a lil more oomph imo, but overall good battle system! The dialogue screams Undertale fan-game though xD

I'm a big undertale fan so it makes sense. I do try my best to do my own thing. It is my first "real" game so I'm learning and trying things out haha.

Just finished the demo. I didn't find everything, but from what I did see (I assume most of it) I'll give some thoughts: -The green eye(?) enemy attack tells feel like a guessing game rather than a tell, could use a more defined "attack" and "fake" animation. will continue this, 1/?

2/? -hitboxes feel ever so slightly disjointed, or perhaps just smaller than anticipated. Not sure how, but tweaking them might improve the game feel. -Outside of main story cutscenes, it felt like there was little to actually inspect. Hopefully later chapters have more to look at/talk to.

3/? -the scripted(I assume) moment where you get all your money taken was funny, but only bc there was only one place in the whole demo to actually spend money (that I found). -More shops/places to use money? (Maybe a slot machine that gives players a new color palette lol) (text limit kills me)

(Just to be clear. I'm reading you and waiting for to finish before saying anything)
