Thank you! A good jrpg has a COOL transition to battles. I worked hard to get it right. And I'm glad it paid off by being of your liking!

I wanna make a game and I want the enemy attacks to be like the Mario & Luigi games. This is very nice. Also, mine will have a squad so I wanna make a color for each chatacter for the counters. Like the Mario & Luigi games.

Thanks! I said it before to another user. But knowing people appreciate my sound design fills me with joy. I'm striving to bring only the coolest sounds!

If it makes you feel any better, I didn't think it would work. I was just making a joke about "demaning people's attention literally" lol.

Honestly I saw this yesterday and really wanted to try out the demo immediately. But like sleep kinda took priority. Now today I’ll check it out soonish. I never get tired of indie RPGs. I’ve played so many and genuinely have loved the lots of them

Aw I played the demo of it a while back and I LOVE the vibes and feel of it. Also accidentally discovered one time you can just ram the doors in the puzzle rooms to just skip it and I love that, and the NPCs dialogue are fun!!

Nice! I'm very happy to know you like it! I love giving players options to see what they'll do. Don't like a puzzle? skip it, if you dare... The full game will have more of that and even more funny npcs ;)

More fleshed out ways to defend yourself, or even attack, are already designed and being implemented in the final game. You should try the demo! Since it covers the "first chapter" of the game, it might be a bit simple. But its a good taste of whats to come! I promise!

I played a bit of it and so far it's fun! The timing takes a little bit of getting used to since I'm used to M&L being really close to hit, this has some distance to it. Combat hits could use a lil more oomph imo, but overall good battle system! The dialogue screams Undertale fan-game though xD

I'm a big undertale fan so it makes sense. I do try my best to do my own thing. It is my first "real" game so I'm learning and trying things out haha.

While we agree with you, the blue guy was insistent in using a sword. It turns out he's good at not hurting people with it? (We don't know how he does it). So don't worry, it is self defense after all! Unless you decide to attack first, you'll never hurt anyone in your path.

Yeah haha. It is a combo of Undertale x Mario & Luigi. It was conceptualized when we all believed M&L was dead for real. And the undertale part is more about saying the right thing instead of "acting".

This COOL game has even more stuff than a living cherry and a spider with a knife on its back. It also has a ball with horns, and a funny eyeball man in a suit. Do I still grab your attention?

Looking like drawn in mspaint is probably my favorite art style. I guess that's why I like UNDERTALE's art style so much. But the shape of your tree is another thing I love.

Thank you! I actually drew more than that one for the demo. But that specific one is probably the first that was made to get the "vibe" just right. And I guess it worked if it grabbed your attention!

Hell yeah! The idea came to me when I thought the mario and luigi games were dead for real (Thank god, it's not the case anymore.). I also love the idea of talking in fights, so combining the two seemed natural in my head. I hope more people think the same lol.

Well, I like it! It is really cool how you have to convince people to join you and its not always clear how. It forces you to know the enemy better and see them as creatures with agency. They're no longer demons but individuals. Its really cool.

Well I'm happy to tell you that you can win fights in three different ways! And depending on what you do, and how much you do it, the game will (try its best) to react! It isn't a crazy "bajillion endings" kind of deal, but I love giving options to players haha.
