What if you could equip a shield rather than sword so when you block you dont do damage…true pacifist route..

While we agree with you, the blue guy was insistent in using a sword. It turns out he's good at not hurting people with it? (We don't know how he does it). So don't worry, it is self defense after all! Unless you decide to attack first, you'll never hurt anyone in your path.
