unloaded. In 1993 I came on an active shooter situation armed gun man robbing a convenience store. I see the situation through the window and step back to my Truck for my weapon. While unlocking my gun box the first shot rings out. By the time I secure my weapon and load it two 16 year old girls..

and a mother of 4 are dead. I took out the shooter but if I had been carrying a loaded weapon on my hip things would have been much different. That decision haunts me and I now always carry my weapon loaded and on me at all times. This school shooting is horrific but without an armed bystander..

It could have been far far worse. We have good gun laws Paul what we do not have is good enforcement or good background checks. As I stated I have my FFL and back when I was buying and selling weapons the FBI check ALWAYS came back clean ALWAYS like they did not do shit. I would run my own checks...
