Well, I work in the Mental health/ child protection side of the world. And yes, the special needs/mh child shouldn’t have had access to a gun. I’m not celebrating that someone had to intervene. It worked out but this father had to go into a school and shoot someone’s kid to protect others. Not good.

We all have the right and permission to cry our eyes out over this, we aren't them. Something in the back of my mind keeps telling me Democratic gun owners need to dominate the issue of talking about safely and properly handling, storing, securing firearms because so many Republicans do not.
