My family has other addictions. I just can’t understand how they don’t know that this will not just destroy individuals and families and communities. Ironically, it will absolutely kill sports. They are committing suicide.

Good on her.

💪💪💪💪💪💪Bravo ! Women must lead the way…away from this unprecedented greed.

I would like to know the % of gambling vs marijuana cases that have destroyed families or lives.

👏👏👏

I come from a long line of gambling addicts. I find our current era fucking disgusting.

It was such a pain back then , I am sure my bank account was thankful back then. So easy, and these stupid prop bets .

🤪

It's out of control on all the networks. Giving betting advice on NFL pregame shows should be illegal. But unfortunately the NFL is run by a stooge for the owners.

Still haven’t watched a college football game this year. Sad…

My father was a gambler in South Jersey in the late 70's when the casinos rolled into Atlantic City. We lost our house because he gambled it away. Beware all those who participate. If you partake, make limits, and let your loved ones know what you are doing. Do not hide and lie when you lose.

Good for her, it's poison. I used the Hard Rock one for a bit, doing $1 and $2 bets and it's easy to see how people can pump up their betting quickly and dangerously.

👍🏾

#Clearly understandable!!

Damn straight. Good for her!

it is everywhere! i can’t watch a cute puppy reel without a draftkings banner in my way! and lets be honest, its obnoxious…

And good for you, Lisa, for sharing this story to help expose these disgusting corporate predatory practices! 🙏

Darnit. Don't get me wrong, good for her. I just get so excited when I see you tag well known people, and it's the same Charlie Brown kicking a football feeling every time I see they don't post here.

that's fantastic, good for her!🏆the athletes propping the gambling industry up show a level of disregard for the addictions they're helping to create in their fanbases. 👀at you LeBron James, Kevin Durant, etc. 👀

Also good on her for walking away.

Not going to lie seems like sports gambling has exploded since all the major leagues have teams already their or planning to. Tired of seeing sports gambling ads all the time.

Good for her. It's in every sport now.

Gambling is act that can lead to addiction and create immense problems for individuals. Polymarkets, fantasy sports sites, even online banking (Robinhood) are getting involved. Banks are soon to follow? How about Municipalities? How about school districts? Total disaster ahead.

I watched a WNBA legend do a bit for DraftKings. I think it was Lisa Leslie. Ugh.
