Our work encourages imagination at the timescale of civilization: a timespan we call the long now. Coined by our cofounder Brian Eno, the long now refers to the next and last 10,000 years. What changes when we look at our world with a longer point of view?

For the past quarter century, we've worked to foster long-term thinking through talks, publications, and audacious projects. We also have more than 12,000 members in 65 different countries. We're excited to be here on Bluesky and to foster long-term thinking together.
