We desperately need an extension API to integrate extension autofill with browser autofill, and another to integrate into the various credential management APIs. Some platforms allow credential managers to integrate for some credential types but passwords are awful everywhere it seems.

No we need to get rid of passwords

Well yeah fair, admittedly this issue with 3 popups is actually because I was adding passkey support and the conditional mediation popup renders alongside bitwarden autofill and the browsers email autofill too.

Data point: I had bug reports from people using Bitwarden on Firefox because their password input popover logic breaks as soon as the web page has a popover of its own... (They're trying to force their popover to render over the website popover and failing.)
