the outer wilds DLC is crazy. you know when you're reading a book and it's so so good and you both want to rush to know all about it AND you want to take your time as much as possible bc once it's over you'll never get to experience it like that again. well it's like that but for a videogame

literally the ideal shape of a videogame for me. the environmental storytelling. the atmosphere. the puzzles. the fact that you "solve" it by learning and figuring out clues but not in a way that's frustrating. every time i (outer wilds spoilers) i'm just so eager to try new things. waow

dgmw the base game is also very very very good. of course. but there's something about the contained aspect of the DLC that speaks to me even more i think
