Does that mean I can run 2 Shorikai as my Commander now?

vehicles are basically just gods that require tapping creatures instead of devotion

Because they turn into creatures.

I think that they just don't want a lot of free removal in the command zone. Commanders that come with removal don't typically also have a built in ult and a durdle mode and a token generator and a static ability and-

Because vehicles are less problematic and aren't going to take over the entire format.

PARHELION II TIME

Things just got wild.

Lol I love this card in my Marchesa, the black rose deck.

My super secret tech for that deck

Neither are veichles

No good reason

This is the best news ever specifically for @goberthicks.bsky.social!

You joke, but I might just do that

Omg is one of my favorite niche cards. Like it is just too expensive unless I have a good reason to run it. I was also looking at titanic

first secret lair I'd actually buy lol

This is the sound of a million Scryfall searches for legendary vehicles.

Does this apply to old legendaries too

Here's Scryfall search link for vehicles and spacecraft with a color identity: scryfall.com/search?q=-co...

how could I forget that symphony of flavor

It would appear so, since they confirmed on the Magic Discord that the rules change will affect Arena.

Esika's Chariot deck here I come!

And her next vehicles commander won't have to!

Heh. I see what you did there.

Will it be a kick flip?

💯

Commander at home should totally do a vehicle only episode. @bmkibler.bsky.social can run Esika's Chariot.

can't wait for the episode of brawlstars where we play normal car as our commander :)

We were promised flipping.

That said, with all the green vehicle goodness now my four colour vehicle deck needs to become five colour, so if we get a five colour legendary vehicle I wouldn't be upset.

I'd sure be looking forward to anything with green holding off until they get a Doubling Season out, for starters.

Do it for planewalkers you already know they should, that's why you made them valid commanders in Brawl

@goberthicks.bsky.social I feel like this was made especially for you 🤭

Yes, you tap a creature like you would to crew a vehicle, but instead of the spacecraft becoming a creature, it receives Station counters equal to the power of the creature. Once the station threshold is met, it becomes a creature. Stationing can only happen at sorcery speed vs crew being any time

You build spacecrafts gradually and they stay creatures. Vehicles you gotta turn every turn.

Bring back the Rules Committee.
