The next #ChemEd #Chemistry #ChemSky 1-page intro covers common [3,3]-sigmatropic rearrangements. Lovely reactions that are a nice way to form C-C bonds with good control of stereochemistry from readily formed precursors. As always, it's just an intro, no orbitals & no Woodward-Hoffmann. Enjoy.

There will be a longer blog over at www.makingmolecules.com soon(ish), I've just got to type-up my handwritten notes (no AI for some of us). But could be worse, I've recently learnt that Neal Stephenson's Baroque Cycle was handwritten (a stack of pages 42 inches high).
