I’ll just note Jay Bhattacharya’s NIH threatened to censor me if I didn’t stop speaking about what was happening, suspended @jenna-m-norton.bsky.social , has a banned words list based on their political preferences, and his allies are threatening to jail Fauci. Scientific Censorship!

JB can only play one note. Doesn’t matter what the question is, the only response he is capable of is: “I was censored by the Biden administration” Criticism in science is not censorship. We all heard plenty from him and his ilk during the pandemic. Why cant he get over this?

Also NIH has over 10,000 employees and last I checked there are about 1000 labs in the in-house program, and the reason you’re not hearing from more NIH people in public is not because they don’t care or aren’t worried, it’s because they are afraid of retaliation. Bhattacharya censorship is real
