Except to the extent that low-dimensional behaviors put a fundamental upper bound on the dimensionality of representations.

why? Time makes every behavior infinite dimensional no?

I’m talking mostly about lab-trained tasks which by their nature are repetitive and often low-D

More formally if the behavior is strongly correlated across time the dimensionality doesn’t necessarily grow as time -> infinity
