The GREEN party of EW is separate from Scottish Greens and we take no seats in the Lords either. Just saying 😉

While the commons is elected on first past the post, then in my opinion, the other chamber should reflect the actual percentage of the vote cast

I think there should be around 200 in the second chamber, selected by an independent board (not politicians) to sit for a period of up to 10 yrs (max age 75) Almost all should be academics, appointed due to excellence in their field, eg medicine, science, economics etc (but not politics) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺👍

Once the HoC goes to PR then the future of any second chamber is moot. Post PR what about, adding the seats in both the HoC and the HoL together into one chamber and making all constituances multi seat relaeats to population size, ala Ireland, so that the true view of each area is represented.
