On Canadian retaliatory tariffs - expected. My thought is that the tit-for-tat stuff is nothing compared to what Canada can actually do, if these shenanigans continue.

Canadian here! Good morning! And you’re right. We can do worse, much worse. And most of us have been pushing for it to happen. Many of our levers are provincial levers tho; energy, potash, water, aluminum, etc. For now there has to be a concerted effort. Later??? We’ll see.

Yep. But the provinces have some power like QC and Ont. can flip the switch on electricity exports, aluminum also. And bottled water the the U.S. companies get from us.

I for one, don’t approve of, let’s say, my province of Québec cutting off electricity to New England.
