I am now forever referring to @karlbode.com as Techdirt's official "vituperative crank." (Also, lashing out at Karl for his excellent piece is weak sauce.)

At the risk of sounding whingey – when you screencap an article, could you please also link to it (or name the site/author it’s from)? Every time people do this I have to plug the text into Google and hope it finds it, and that extra step really adds up over a day …

In this case, Google finds no results, so I have no way of knowing who wrote this or where. (Not that I think I’ll find the piece particularly informative or interesting, but idle curiosity must be sated)

Shit talking people who criticize you from the safety of your own newsletter is kind of sad, right?
