Slack now runs the new Go-powered @typescriptlang.org checker in CI. Using the tool saves us over 5 minutes per run, meaning faster merges and happier developers. Huge thanks to Anders, @jakebailey.dev, and everyone else on the project for the incredible performance gains.

What was the original typecheck time?

Time varies based on how many node modules need updating, but just running tsc used to take over 6 minutes, and tsgo takes ~42 seconds, give or take
