Additionally, why aren’t more democrats screaming about how funding illegal healthcare is a complete and total lie? Why don’t dems have a better comms strategy?

Because responding to the lie keeps it alive. It's what Republicans want, because it prevents Dems from focusing on their own message. Replying to each lie is like saying "How high?" every time they say "Jump!"

Your own post describes it best - and your post doesn't pin blame on Democrats. Point your finger at the source - social media algorithms that treat conflict as engagement. Democrats can scream their heads off and still not budge the algorithm b/c it generates too little conflict/faux engagement.

The algorithms are set to enhance confrontation and conflict - the algorithm considers that to be "engagement." Blaming the Democrats for the algorithm misplaces the blame. Nuance is needed. Democrats can always do a better job, but Dems don't deserve blame for social media algorithms
