I think there's a lot of straight people with a little bit of latent homophobia, and when some of their favorite gays say it's ok to bash the bad gays they jump at the opportunity

Lots of people get upset when I tell them that using the accusation of homosexuality to mock and demean straight identified people is homophobic and wrong, even when the person you’re talking about is themselves a homophobic right winger.
