With her app, Jana Wäldchen @bgc-jena.mpg.de can find out what species a plant belongs to. Each species has a profile with information on its distribution, characteristics, and conservation status. #FloraIncognita also provides valuable data on the state of nature. #CitizenScience #PlantScience

Surely not, but I think apps like this will spark interest in biology, potentially also to groups that would otherwise not be exposed to the information. It makes systematics less scary for manu, I think...
