Ok, i have a rant about posterior MI. The old criteria with tall R and T waves in the right precordials comes from a review piece years ago. Doesn't meet current evidence. Also, V7-V9 aren't needed for confirmation.

Lastly, I think there was a typo in the blog, reference 4 cited when I think they meant number 5. Pendell and Steve's (et al) study showed that all you need is maximal St. Depression in V1 through V4, none of the other factors like R waves or T waves helped identify posterior MI. -That Guy
