Isn't it a fact that the campaign was a good one? How much can we say was a failure by Harris vs a successful strategy by Trump. I feel the low information voter is choosing the presidency now. Trump used Musk's money and social media to reach people who don't consume any news content at all.

There are still people on MSNBC that I respect and DVR. That show will never again hold that place. I used to have it on in the background in the morning. Lost my respect in '16 with the normalizing, then apologized for it. Won't be around for round 2 and faux outrage and constant Joe interruptions

My thoughts as well. I already unsubscribed from CNN the moment it got taken over by the republicans and just unsubscribed from msnbc as I can see where they are going to go. It’s a shame as I really was invested in a few of the shows but eventually this will spread across all of them.

I hope you’re right but when the first of your presenters on the main morning show bend the knee it doesn’t look good for the narrative not to follow across all programs. You will probably start seeing more favourable stories or people starting to appear on the shows from the republicans side.

Lucky for me, I never turn on the TV during the day unless there is a storm or disaster. Now, I’m only watching Lawrence O’Donnell at 10 PM EST. I’m streaming shows on Netflix, Prime, and other apps in the evening. That’s it.

The media’s failure is to have covered MAGA as a political movement when, in fact, it is a new religion. They see him as messianic figure chosen by God to vanquish the deep state & usher in something they call “The Great Awakening.” It’s kooky, but, like all faith, impervious to fact or reason.

I have not watched them since the election. I have not watched MSNBC since the election. I have not watched CNN since they tried to shove making abortion illegal as a positive thing, down my throat. I agree with the author when they say there is no meaning to corporate America. It's money stupid.

I said goodbye to them, MSNBC, CNN and all cable news over a year ago. They are all complicit, as they were in 2015 by normalizing Donald Trump and treating him as a legitimate candidate.

I always found them to be very shallow, and he was never respectful of her, and she never stood up to being interrupted all the time. He would go on and on about things and just say the same thing over and over. Now, they've proven me right. Shallow is the nicest thing I can say.

They faced reality, Trump won. So long as they continue to speak out against the injustices of him and his criminal administration, I see nothing wrong with a new tactic. We can stand alone in a corner or have a seat at the table for the next 4 years. Time will tell.

They’ve been very bold and clear in calling him out. He won the election. We need to know what he’s up to behind closed doors. He will get pissed off with them soon enough and cut them off. I haven't watched corporate media since 2005 until this election cycle when I started watching MSNBC. I would get frustrated a lot with Morning Joe and after this, I am done with them. But I like @velshi.bsky.social. His show always has more character, wisdom, and depth. I will keep watching Ali.

Wow! Their ratings have been weak. Maybe they were required by the owners to do this? I heard Trump was pretty nice to them. Sounds like a new line of communication. That's a good thing. I really couldn't verify that Trump was planning to do anything wrong. I think maybe people are just scared?

They did this in 2016 when they went to Mar-a-Lago at Christmas time. Did everyone forget? The visit went sideways whenTrump accused Joe of killing a former congressional staffer and mocked Mika’s plastic surgery. You can’t change the spots on two leopards.

Trump said that Joe unalived his assistant. They were railing about it last week. And he said awful things about Mika too, if nothing else for personal reasons I would never meat with him. That doesn’t even account for everything he has said or done.
