BREAKING: Democrat Alison Page has defeated longtime Republican incumbent Dan Toland in the River Falls, Wisconsin mayoral race, flipping the seat from red to blue. Toland had held the office since 2012.

Yes, Waukesha also flipped to a democratic woman mayor. This one is more surprising as it is a pretty red area. River Falls is a small college town, so doesn't seem as shocking.

The Dem mayoral flip in River Falls is a stunner as it’s in the ruby red rural area of northwestern Wisconsin. To win as a woman and a democrat there is phenomenal and she beat a man who’s been mayor there since 2012. Congrats to the newly elected mayors of Waukesha and River Falls!

As a resident of River Falls who knows both Alison Page and Dan Toland - Dan is not MAGA. He's pretty nonpartisan. Ms. Page has run for office in the past as a Dem. I could recommend either of them.

Btw…Ro Khanna seems to be trying to get on the right side of Democrats’ Israel problem. Yes, he’s taken AIPAC money, but this week he’s been vocal—calling Gaza a Genocide, something many Dems have avoided.
