The Wild Ride airs Monday, 7-9 PM on 102.3 New Orleans, and worldwide at whivfm org. Our guiding principle was set forth by Duke Ellington: "There are two kinds of music - the good kind and the other kind." We just play the good kind, from 1920 to today, jug band to punk.

I hope someone at Netflix is already working on the 5 part Kimberly Guilfoyle documentary, because I really need to see it.

Being called "a profoundly dishonest politician with no sense of honor" by Newt Gingrich is like Steph Curry complimenting you on your jump shot.

I spoke to my old friend Mitch McConnell this morning, the senior Senator from Kentucky. He's still recovering in the hospital. We talked for just shy of 20 minutes. And all that time he insisted he was a ghost, already dead but trapped in semi-corporeal form by Pure Evil. I told him Get Well Sir.

Highlighting the speaker who stood in front of the Surprise mayor and told him to consider what the Mayor of Ohrdruf must’ve thought before he died by suicide: “He might have thought ‘how is this my fault I had no jurisdiction over this’ maybe he said ‘this site was not subject to local zoning.’”

Journalists, please remember that repeating obviously false statements is not balance or fairness. It is actively participating in deception.

Most well-adapted, ethical people wouldn't do what's needed to become a billionaire. These guys didn't become sociopaths after they got money. The got money because they were sociopaths.

Heartless thugs preying on frightened people and their pets. Accountability will come for these cretins.

Happening now: at the Broadview ICE facility outside Chicago, Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino and other CBP/ICE agents emerge to patrol Beach Street and escort a vehicle out. They ordered people out of the street, walked to the end of it and then back to the fence.

A fun fact about McCarthyism is that just two and a half years after he was condemned and censured, Sen. Joseph McCarthy drank himself to death at 48. Fevers break. Petty tyrants fall. Censorship and persecution drive good people to stand together and fight back.

Apropos of nothing in particular, here's Walt Disney's testimony to HUAC in 1947, where he named employees he believed were communists, condemned labor unions, and accused "commie" groups, including the League of Women Voters, of smearing him. 🗃️ archive.org/details/walt...
