National Guard units are still wandering around DC, and as far as I can tell they do... nothing. But this morning I saw a group of four CamoKids walking down the street, and when they got to the corner they did a little formation, and I just thought it was the funniest thing.

They are concentrated here in my neighborhood, Dupont Circle, specifically. Why? No one knows. The danger level on the streets here is hysterically low, and they look like utter fools, even though I know most of them don't want to be here.

Putting on a show for the tourists (and maybe the diplomats as well)

They're definitely around the Mall in droves, from what I've seen (although I'm not down there much these days)
