Buying ice skates the moment our lakes freeze is excellent timing 🤦‍♂️. The store is empty, folks are lining up, and there is only one expensive model left. Luckily, they are my size. There is no way around it; the kids need entertainment. ⛸️

It's nice being on the ice again after many years. The kids loved it. Next time, I must bring a sled to do a few rounds with them.

I lost my Bauer, and they are out of stock. I got some K2; they will do for now. My ice hockey days are over anyway—until one of my kids discovers it.
