basically the same tagline as the blob lol
just as stupid as I remembered. jon voight getting eaten was hilarious. jon voight getting spit out and winking was even funnier.
this movie rules as long as you don’t think much about some fundamentally stupid plot points. it features sam jackson and the guy from the expanse. also it has a john wick moment
impressively ridiculous 80s hong kong movie with a wide variety of monsters. from the director of The Cat, it’s a similar vibe but more explosions and less goop. chow yun fat saves the day with a rocket launcher.
witch from nepal, similar to the seventh curse, featuring a lot of telekinesis and wire jumping, also has zombies for some reason. it was ahead of the matrix for having someone bend a utensil with their mind
heads explode when nazis try to take over a fortress that turns out to be haunted.
I really love this one mainly because of the vibes and atmosphere. the sets, the fog effects, the music by tangerine dream, all the weird production choices
this one is pretty scary, from hideo nakata. basically all of the horrors stem from having a bad landlord, though not being allowed to work from home and the challenges of single motherhood are also contributing factors.
basically After Hours but during a nuclear apocalypse. manages to be both tense and comedic. like any good 80s movie, it has a satisfying amount of neon, music by tangerine dream, and a diner with giant burgers on the roof
