I would posit that no other film in the history of cinema has done so much with so little. Just twelve guys and three sets (two of which only play for three minutes total). It's all acting, directing, cinematography - skill - and trusting the writer (Reginald Rose, who is confoundingly forgotten).

Each of these portraits represent my moods throughout the day. In order; pessimism (pre-coffee), agitation, forlorn, disgust, contempt, smug, Incredulous, dumbfounded, curious, pessimism (post-coffee), deep arousal, and Sisyphean resignation

I love that moment when Henry Fonda stabs *his* knife in the table after E.G. Marshall goes on and on about the murder weapon being so *unusual*…. A classic.

Ed Begley was such an unusual character actor in the Fifties. There's about five noirs where his character is a key part in the emotional drama. Asphalt Jungle to Odds Against Tomorrow...

It’s a wonderful movie, and I have noticed that every movie reactor on YouTube goes crazy for it. Just as relevant today as it was when it was made, and it has been redone as “12 Angry Jurors” or “12 Angry People” often.
