Meta recently made their interaction SDKs / building blocks cross platform with Open XR, so theoretically, they should work on AndroidXR. developers.meta.com/horizon/blog...
As soon as Meta started using an OpenXR backend, they could have their done stuff in a much more cross-platform manner and saved everyone a headache. I’m building github.com/mikeskydev/u... to prove that, and as a bonus @openbrush.app will now ship a single apk for Pico and Quest, with Passthrough!

I empathize with the problem. We made tbutt.net before OpenXR existed, and hoped it would make us obsolete. But every vendor has unique features that OpenXR doesn't accommodate so in practice it is just another SDK we had to wrap like any new platform.
I think it can definitely seem that way, but in the background it’s all quite cooperative inside Khronos. registry.khronos.org/OpenXR/specs... is a goldmine and basically the manual no single vendor wants to publicly talk about.
