When “the powers that be” decided to systematically gut the US workforce by offshoring, you couldn’t reskill your way out of that. The only way to keep your job was by moving to a different country and take a huge pay cut. Not that it was even really possible. These “powers” are looking at LLMs now

The past few years have been very eye-opening for me: RTO even to detriment of productivity, AI mandates, Powell saying workers are paid too much. Capital’s contempt for labor becomes more overt with each year. Financial sovereignty or bust.
